Voiceover casting

The voice you're looking for should have many great qualities.
So should your voice casting.

For me, voiceover casting isn't just another service offering.

It's my specialty.

As Casting Director for Pomann Sound for eight years, I've worked with some of the best voice talent in New York.  Often on national brands and under tough time constraints.

This helped me hone a lot of useful skills, such as running the board and editing takes on the fly without an assistant.  And building a searchable database of over a thousand union

and non-union voice actors.  (Need someone with a Newfoundland accent, or a voice actor who sings minstrel songs?  No problem!)

But my voice casting expertise didn't come from being a casting director alone.  It came from working in all of the related fields that voice acting touches on.

Such as my twenty plus years in advertising where I made talent decisions for TV snd radio campaigns across a wide range of product categories, from consumer to retail to promos.

Or my first career as a radio DJ in which I voiced hundreds of commercials, promos and stingers, allowing me to speak to actors with firsthand knowledge of the craft.

And my background in theater, giving me a deeper understanding of how to build a character from the written word.

And finally, my ongoing fascination with the human voice and its amazing ability to excite.  To captivate.  To amuse.  To evoke exactly the tone and manner appropriate to your client's brand.

So let's talk, and see how a wider perspective can benefit your next voiceover project.

I think you'll like what you hear.
