Audio production

I'll tell you a secret.  Behind my professional casting director exterior lies the heart of a die-hard sound geek.  Beginning with my first job in radio at WCOZ, Boston (the city's #1 rock station at the time) where I recorded and edited hundreds of radio spots, promos and stingers in my first six months alone.

Today, through a special arrangement with several top New York recording studios, I'm still producing radio.  As well as recording soundtracks for webcasts, trade shows and industrials. 

My passion for sound design has even extended to the New York stage, having created sonic textures for a number of plays and dance performances (including my own 2018 production of The Chekhov Dreams at New York's Theatre Row).​

Perhaps my most widely recognized forte, however, is creating voiceover demos for actors. Through my partnerships with state of the art recording studios like Star Trax and ButtonsNY, actors come away with a reel that's produced with the same broadcast quality professionalism we give our national clients, while also showcasing the kind of skill and content the commercial industry is looking for.  (After all, who better to produce a voiceover demo than someone who has spent years reviewing them?)

word of mouth has led to an ever growing list of clients.  Apparently  people like getting full service audio production for a low flat rate, instead of hiring studios with lots of overhead and paying by the hour. Huh. Who woulda thought?
